Telecoms Maintainer & Fault Finder

Telecommunications maintainer & fault finders are capable of:

• Maintaining operational railway telecommunications systems and equipment
• Rectifying defects
• Locating and diagnosing failures
• Carrying out integrity checks and testing
• Returning system to service

Applicants will typically work in one or more of the following areas of telecommunications systems and equipment: transmission systems including radio, bearer systems, SCADA, operational telephone switches and systems, CCTV and information systems on or about the railway.
