 Domestic Electrical Installer  

Our 18 day course package contains training in 17th Edition wiring regulations, Electrical principles - installation, and building regulations modules that will be necessary to work as a domestic installer. All 3 of the courses in this package are fully accredited by City & Guilds and/or HIGHFIELD and are stand alone qualifications at the equivilent of Level3.

 

 

 

 

                                     Other Electrical Courses 

 

 

17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) / City&Guilds 2382-15
The purpose of the course is to familiarise practising electricians, technicians, supervisors etc with the requirements of the 17th edition IEE wiring regulations (BS7671) and its implications.

 

 Electrical Principles One (EP1)

Designed for members of staff who have little or no knowledge of electrical principles as relevant to railway signalling and who require an understanding of fundamental first principles

 

Electrical Principles Two (EP2)
Designed for members of staff who have a basic knowledge of electrical principles as relevant to railway signalling and who require a greater understanding of fundamental principles

 

Portable Applicance Testing (City & Guilds 2377)
This course is designed for all those who need the theoretical and practical knowledge to competently inspect and test portable and transportable appliances to the requirements of the electricity at work regulations

 

 Part P - Electrical Installations in Dwellings (City & Guilds 2393-01)

This 1 day course is aimed to provide practising electricians, already operating in the domestic environment, to upgrade their existing knowledge to incorporate an understanding of how electrical installations in dwellings must comply with all relevant Building Regulations

 

 Initial Verification & Certification - (City & Guilds 2394) - Inspection & Testing

This course is designed for practising electricians who are involved in Initial Verification and certification of new installations. It is one of the replacement qualifications for the C&G 2391-10

 

Periodic Verification & Certification - (City & Guilds 2395) - Inspection & Testing

This course is designed for practising electricians who are involved in Periodic Verification and certification.
