Level 3 Award in Initial Verification 

(City and Guilds 2391-50)


 

Objectives:

This course aims to prepare delegates for the practical and theoretical assessments leading to award of the City & Guilds 2391-50 Level 3 certificate.

Entry Requirements:

Candidates must have: 17th Edition wiring regs (C&G 2382-12). It would also be expected that candidates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience of electrical installation work either within the electrical contracting industry or an allied trade.

Course Summary:

This course is intended for learners who wish to verify new installations and perhaps never need to carry out Periodic Inspection and Testing.

It has been designed to enable learners to understand the principles, practices and legislation for the initial verification of electrical installations with statutory and non-statutory regulations and requirements. Its content is the knowledge needed by a learner to underpin the application skills for the inspection, testing, commissioning and certification of electrical installations.

Achievement of the course objectives will be verified by both practical and theoretical on-line assessment.
