  • Signalling Installer Program (IRSE 1.2.110 Mapped)

 

 

Based in Ipswich (Suffolk), our training services have been fundamentally recognised as being pro-active, effective and, above all, technically competent. This program gives the candidate the required competencies to become a railway Signalling Installer. The training is an intensive 6 week course, filled with all the safety critical, signalling, technical and electrical knowledge needed to pursue a career within the rail industry.

 

By completing all of the modules listed below, this program is delivered in accordance with the IRSE (Institute of Rail Signal Engineers) licensing scheme conditions. As such, the program satisfies the knowledge requirements that enable delegates to apply for licensing after the appropriate experience criteria has been met. This program is mapped towards achieving IRSE category 1.2.110 and includes the competences required for registration with the Engineering council at the grade of EngTech. (The Engineering Council stipulates a minimum education requirement Equivalent to BTEC L3 or NVQ L3).

As part of this package, all delegates will be sentinel sponsored by our company and then given PTS training.

  • SPWEE (Safety Precautions when using Electrical Equipment)
  • Small Plant / Small Tools
  • Electrical Principles
  • Manual Handling
  • First Aid (Highfield Certified)
  • Basic Diagram Reading
  • EISS (Electrical Installation Signalling Systems)
  • BS1 (Basic Signalling 1)
  • PTS Initial + DCCR + ICI

This course is 30days in duration run over a 6 week period - Mon-Fri (No training at weekends or bank holidays).

9am-4:30pm (Lunches included)

 

Non-Residential Total Cost: £3295+VAT                            

The average qualified Installer earns £28,000 Per Annum OTE*(*Employment is not guaranteed by attending this course)
